Tolland County is a county located in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Connecticut. As of 2000, the population was 136,364. The 2004 population estimate was 146,667. Counties in Connecticut have no governmental function: all legal power is vested in state and town governments. Tolland County has the same boundaries as the Tolland Judicial District.
