The album was certified Oro in the US (over 100,000 copies) in February 2006. The album mirrored its success in Brazil where it peaked at the number-1 position, spending several weeks at the top of the charts.
The album was released in Spain on September 11, 2006.
Also, a DVD of the tour was released, samely entitled Tour Generación RBD En Vivo.
The songs "Santa No Soy" and "Cuando El Amor Se Acaba" (Maite's first solo) were apart of the tour but are not included on either version the CD.
The album debuted at number-two in the Mexican Top 100 and number-one MixUp Stores Charts and has sold approximately 500,000 copies to date in Mexico, and around 1.000.000 copies worldwide.
