The Toyota Ractis is a subcompact car produced by Japanese automaker Toyota and sold only in Japan. It is a five-seater based on the Toyota Vitz, and was introduced in October 2005 as the successor of the Yaris Verso.
The name "Ractis" derives from "Run", "Activity" and "Space".
Ractis is being sold in Hong Kong starting from October 2009. Currently, Hong Kong is the only place outside Japan where Ractis is sold.
