Tracii Guns (born Tracy Ulrich on January 20, 1966) is an American hard rock guitarist who has played with a number of well-known rock and metal bands and solo artists over the years. Tracii Guns (born Tracy Ulrich on January 20, 1966) is an American hard rock guitarist who has played with a number of well-known rock and metal bands and solo artists over the years. Among these are Guns N' Roses, Brides of Destruction, L.A. Guns, Killing Machine. In the mid-1980s, Axl Rose started Guns N' Roses with Tracii. Rose then recruited Izzy Stradlin, a friend and Hollywood Rose's rhythm guitarist, to join the band, and Guns recruited former L.A. Guns members Ole Beich and Rob Gardner for bass guitar and drums respectively. When Guns left the band, Axl stayed and formed Guns n Roses while Guns re-formed L.A. Guns. In 2002, Nikki Sixx and Guns formed the band Brides of Destruction. Brides of Destruction had three other members Kris Kohls, London LeGrand and John Corabi. Kohls left midway through recording the first album and was replaced by Scot Coogan and they ended finishing the rest of the album. Corabi left the band in March 2003.
