Tricia Tomlinson

As Vice President of Human Resources, Tricia Tomlinson has worldwide responsibility for all human resources functions and activities as well as driving the culture, environment, organizational systems and processes that govern how work is done and people are treated at Azul Systems. Tricia Tomlinson is a technology industry veteran and a recognized human resources expert with 25 years of experience in cultivating people, creating corporate cultures, and developing workforces as a strategic, competitive advantage.

Before joining Azul, Tricia sat on the executive staff at palmOne as senior vice president human resources, where she led the development of a new combined company culture for the merger with Handspring, Inc. Prior to palmOne, she was vice president human resources for Handspring where she led the development of the company’s employee philosophies, programs, policies and human resources infrastructure. During the company’s expansion period, she helped drive the hiring from 70 to 450 employees worldwide in 18 months and was instrumental in planning and orchestrating the integration of Handspring and Palm Solutions following the acclaimed acquisition in 2003.

Prior to Handspring, Tricia served as senior ranking officer of the Edify Corporation where she managed all aspects of the human resources function, including organizational design, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations and recruitment. She played an integral role in the successful negotiation of the company’s sale of its Employee Self Service assets in May, 1999 and led the worldwide integration of all aspects of the human resources functions and organization for the merger of Edify with Security First Technologies and FICS Corporation.

Tricia also served nine years at Apple Computer where she helped pioneer cutting edge human resources programs in the early ‘80s to early’90s. Tricia also held executive human resources management positions at Xerox Corporation and Synopsys.

Tricia is a graduate of the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Pomona College in Claremont, California.
