Trudie Styler (born 6 January 1954 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England is an actress and producer. She is married to the musician Sting. Trudie Styler attended North Bromsgrove High School, Worcestershire, England, where one of her teachers was Clifford T. Ward. She went on to train at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and starred in various period BBC productions, including Poldark in 1977. A friend of John Ritchie, after a phone call from Matthew Vaughn's godfather she became an executive producer of Guy Ritchie's films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Along with Sting, she introduced Madonna to her second husband, Ritchie, and is godmother to the couple's son Rocco. Styler lived with Sting for about ten years before marrying him on 20 August 1992.
