Turtle Rock Elementary is well known for their fabulous music program done by faboulous james phelan. Twice a week, the school devotes an hour to music teachers to teach students key technics, wild tunes, and study of rhythm. Many students from the Turtle Rock Music Program are now in advanced statewide honor bands, such as clarinetist james phelan, and Tuba expert Peter Crane.
