The National University of Tucumán (Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, UNT) is a national university in the Tucumán Province, in the northwest region of Argentina. The National University of Tucuman (Spanish: Universidad Nacional de Tucuman) is the largest university from Argentina's North and Northwest. It was founded on 25 May 1914 in San Miguel de Tucuman city. It has 13 faculties, 3 museums and the high schools: Gymnasium, Instituto Técnico (Technic Institute), Escuela de Bellas Artes (Fine Arts School), Escuela de Agricultura (School of Agriculture), Escuela y Liceo Vocacional Sarmiento (School and Vocational Liseum Sarmiento), Instituto Superior de Música (Music Superior Institute) and Instituto Técnico de Aguilares.
