The University of the Netherlands Antilles (UNA) is the state university of the Netherlands Antilles, on the island of Curacao. It was founded in 1979 by the merger of the then existing colleges of business administration, law and of technical sciences. Nowadays each of these are faculties of the UNA. There is also another faculty, namely the Faculty of Educational and Cultural Sciences, bringing the total sum of faculties to 4.
