At the courthouse, Johnny sees a vision of fellow juror Vic Goodman (Jim Byrnes) talking to his brother in prison. Later, the prosecutor (Dion Johnstone) attempts to have Johnny removed from the candidate pool, but the judge (Alex Diakun) rules the psychic fit to serve. The trial proceeds, with a witness named Emily (Kirsten Williamson) claiming to have heard gunshots while fleeing a store; security footage from the store shows a gang of teens, including the 17-year-old defendant Carl Winters (Dexter Bell), harassing Emily as the store clerk (Manoj Sood) tries to stop them.
