Some cities that have Urban contemporary stations are; Los Angeles, California, New York City, Atlanta, Georgia, Chicago, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Charlotte, and Norfolk, Virginia, etc.
The term "urban contemporary" is heavily associated with African American music, particularly for an African American style of music, Contemporary R&B.; For the Latinos, the music is more Latin urban, Reggaeton.
