Danski and Delmundo toured Spain from 1992 to 1997 in a school bus, previously owned by K Siebenhausen, finding success organizing illegal beach parties during the summers. Danski, Delmundo and keyboard player Scott Bailey recruited six dancers to form a group: Kim Sasabone, Denise van Rijswijk, Thomas Kellaghan, Robin Pors, David Glasgow and Roy den Burger. In 1997, the name Vengaboys was thought up during a recording session for another of Danski's projects Nakatomi, as he kept repeating the word "venga" (Spanish for "come on").
