Verónica lived in Argentina until her father died; then later moved to the United States, to Florida and eventually settling in Los Angeles. She was already a successful fashion model prior to Playboy. Her mother encouraged her to pose for Playboy as a great opportunity, but also raised her with a strict Catholic Italian / Argentine upbringing as well as Catholic schooling.
