Veronica Pershina (born in 1966 in Yekaterinburg) is a former Soviet pairs figure skater. She won the 1979 World Junior Figure Skating Championships with partner Marat Akbarov. The pair went on to win the bronze medal at the 1985 European Figure Skating Championships . She was trained by Stanislav Zhuk and Irina Rodnina.

She now lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan and works as ice skating coach . She was married to the ice dancing coach Igor Shpilband but they now are divorced. Their daughter, Ekaterina Shpilband placed 4th in the Juvenile ladies division of the 2009 United States Junior National Championships.
