Viktor Robertovich Tsoi (Russian: Ви́ктор Ро́бертович Цой; 21 June 1962, Leningrad, Soviet Union – 15 August 1990, Tukums, Latvia, USSR) was a Soviet rock musician, leader of the band Kino. Tsoi was born to a Korean father and Russian mother on June 21, 1962 in Leningrad, USSR (now St. Petersburg, Russia).
