Vive la Fête (French for Long live the party) is an electronic music group, founded in 1997 in Ghent (Belgium). The core of the band is formed by lovers Danny Mommens (guitar and vocals) and Els Pynoo (vocals). Vive la Fête was founded in 1997 when Mommens (then still playing in his former band dEUS) recorded a few demos with Pynoo on his 8-track recorder.
