Walden Belfiore was named after singer Bobby Darin, born Walden Robert Cassotto. He is a soldier in the Gervasi crew of the DiMeo crime family. He was first seen accompanying Carlo Gervasi to a meeting at the Bada Bing and also visited Tony Soprano following the death of Christopher Moltisanti, going to great pains to reassure the others of Gervasi's imminent arrival. Belfiore is also the maiden name of Angie Bonpensiero (as mentioned by Janice Soprano in a season 2 episode), so Walden could possibly be a relative of hers although there is no actual evidence to suggest so.
Walden was also a bodyguard for Tony Soprano at the safe-house when Tony goes into hiding after the death of Bobby Bacala and the incapacitation of Silvio Dante....
