Waukesha County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of 2000, the population was 360,767. Its county seat is Waukesha.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 580 square miles (1,503 km²), of which, 556 square miles (1,439 km²) of it is land and 25 square miles (65 km²) of it (4.29%) is water.
