Wedel is a town in the district of Pinneberg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Elbe, approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) south of Elmshorn, and 17 kilometres (11 miles) mile, west of Hamburg.
