WESU is a college/community radio station in the United States, founded in 1939 as WES (AM carrier current) in the basement of Clark Hall. In the 50's, the call-sign became WESU. Then in the 60's it moved to FM at 88.1 MHz. Between 1967 and 1990, WESU was owned and operated by an independent student group, the now-defunct Wesleyan Broadcast Association, Inc.
