Woodbridge Nathan Ferris (January 6, 1853–March 23, 1928) was an educator from New York, Illinois and Michigan, as well as Democratic statesman and Governor (1913-1916). Ferris was born of John Ferris, Jr. and Estella (Reed) Ferris in a log cabin near Spencer, New York and attended the academies of Spencer, Candor, and Oswego, and the Oswego Normal Training School (now State University of New York at Oswego) from 1870–1873.
