WXRK has had more call sign changes than any other radio station in Cleveland, a total of eight. The station debuted around 1950 on 95.3 MHz as WSRS-FM, founded by S.R. Sague - and simulcast sister station WSRS 1490 AM, also licensed to Cleveland Heights.
