The school is part of a worldwide network of schools named after Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schneersohn, the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe. The school, as a branch of the Yeshiva Centre umbrella, is under Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Groner OB"M, and Rabbi Mordechai Berger is the current acting principal of the high school, having replaced Rabbi Avrohom Glick at the start of the 2008 school year. Rabbi Glick still has a presence at the school and is currently the Jewish Studies teacher of Year 10.
