Massiah was born in Barbados and was raised in London, England. Today she lives in Cologne, Germany.
Being born in Barbados, Zeeteah went to London when she was only 5 years old. This is where she was raised. One of the first records Zeeteah recorded was a cover of The Jackson 5’s "We Got A Good Thing Going" in a reggae style. She went on to record several more reggae records before deciding to change her music style.
One of her first acting roles was the part of "Chiffon" in the musical Little Shop of Horrors in London.
