Joseph Modeliste (born 28 December 1948 also known as Ziggy or Zigaboo) is an American drummer best known as a founding member of the funk group The Meters. Considered to be one of the most innovative, and highly acclaimed drummers ever to hail from New Orleans, Louisiana, Modeliste is a pioneer of second-line funk.
