Sir Malcolm Campbell (11 March 1885 – 31 December 1948) was an English racing motorist and motoring journalist. He gained the world speed record on land and on water at various times during the 1920s and 1930s using vehicles called Bluebird. His son, Donald Campbell, was killed in 1967, attempting to repeat his achievements.

One of several leading female editors from the golden age of Hollywood, Adrienne Fazan (1906 – 1986) first started cutting films in 1933. She found her forte with the MGM musical heyday, working on such films as Anchors Aweigh (1945) and Kismet (1955), and earning an Oscar nomination for An American in Paris in 1951 and the award itself for Gigi in 1958. Dale Roberts (8 October 1956 – 5 February 2003), was a football player, a centre-half who started his playing career at Ipswich Town F.C.
Roberts was born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. He was on the Ipswich team at the same time as other centre-half players such as Kevin Beattie, Allan Hunter, Russell Osman and Terry Butcher and he eventually moved on to Hull City A.F.C.
