Release 3.10 (Dec 5, 2007)
- List Import - have a list of things you want to add to a type? Don't want to have to key each one in manually? Now you can import and reconcile a list of items from the schema view for any type.
- Supporting Types - this new option in schema editor lets you create a type that isn't displayed in the standard topic view, when used along with included types this enables property sharing across types. For more, see the related help topic.
- New User Profile - the new profile features an improved layout with access to the user's edit history
- User Edit History - displays a log of the most recent edits the user has made to Freebase
- Watched Discussion Filters - this can be accessed by clicking the 'view details' link under discussions on the user homepage and clicking the 'watched discussions' tab
- 'Find it' - sample Freebase queries are now displayed on the user homepage
- Search discussions - just click on the 'discuss' link in the header
- Redesigned Help Pages - these have been reorganized and hopefully will be easier to use. You can now search help topics from here as well.
- Initial RSS feed support for discussions and page history - from most pages on Freebase, you'll now notice an RSS icon in the location window of your browser. Give it a click - you'll find a number of different feed options to subscribe to. This is still in development so some of the feed semantics may change and we're also hoping to improve the output as well, but its a start.
- Self-registration - people can now signup for Freebase without an invitation
