Eric Dwayne Collins, better known by his stage name RBX(standing for "Reality Born X"), is a rapper and R&B; singer from Long Beach, California. Although many think Collins is the son of funk legend Bootsy Collins, actually he's not; but they are close friends. However he is also related to Nate Dogg and Canidate Other than outstanding rhymes and wordplay, it also benefited RBX to have Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger as cousins. This kinship, along with possessing a natural talent for lyrics, led to a long career in the music industry. After a noteworthy appearance on Dr. Dre's The Chronic and making various cameos on Death Row Records releases. RBX was one of the first artists on Death Row to leave the label, likely due to money problems. About a year later after Dr. Dre signed him to his new label Aftermath Entertainment. RBX launched a solo career that dropped below the radar from most hip-hop circles. Nonetheless, his underground work has drawn a lot of dedicated fans and admirers of his unorthodox sound. To date RBX is currently working with platinum producers Chilly Chill and "West coast Scratch" (as mentioned in the Dubcnn's June interview) on RBX's long-awaited album.
