Seventeen is an American magazine for teenagers. It was first published in 1944. It is still in the forefront of newsstand popularity among growing competition.
As of January 2007, Ann Shoket is the editor in chief. She was formerly executive editor of CosmoGIRL! since October 2003. She replaced Atoosa Rubenstein, who left in November 2006, after the departure of nine editors in September 2006.
