The Book of Ti'ana (1996) by Rand Miller, Robyn Miller, and David Wingrove is the second novel of the Myst series, but chronologically comes first. Set in the fictional D'ni Universe based on the popular computer game Myst, Book of Ti'ana details the origins of Atrus's family. The novel is also the basis for a planned Myst film.
