Judith Miller (born January 2, 1948), an American journalist, was a Pulitizer Prize winning, New York Times reporter based in Washington D.C. with access to top U.S. government officials. Her coverage of these officials, especially regarding the Bush administration’s conclusions about Iraq’s alleged Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Program in 2003 and her involvement in the disclosure of the the identity of a covert CIA agent, Valerie Plame, made her a high-profile media personality. The work that Miller and Michael Gordon did in presenting the case that Iraq had WMDs has been questioned. Miller lost her job in November 2005 over these reporting issues though Gordon continues to work for the New York Times. As of October, 2008, she is a contributor to the Fox News Channel. Born in New York City to a Jewish father and an Irish Catholic mother, Judith Miller grew up in Miami and Los Angeles, where she graduated from Hollywood High School.
