In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Common Eldarin is the primordial tongue of the Eldar, those Elves who left for Valinor.
Common Eldarin split off from Primitive Quendian, the original language of all Quendi, or Elves, when the Eldar left Cuiviᅢᄅnen.
Common Eldarin led to the later languages Quenya, Teleri, Sindarin, and various Nandor languages.
