Rafael Núñez

Rafael Wenceslao Núñez Moledo (28 September 1825 in Cartagena de Indias - 18 September 1894 in Cartagena de Indias), a Colombian author and politician, was president of Colombia from 1880 to 1882 and 1884-1888. He was the force behind La Regeneración (Regeneration) movement of 1884 and the new Constitution for Colombia of 1886.
