Shout Records was a record label subsidiary of Bang Records, active between 1967 until 1972. When Bang was sold to Columbia Records the masters of Shout were also transferred.
Sony Records later bought the rights to public release of all artists who had worked for Shout.
In recent years, the Shout Records name has been associated with a subsidiary label of Cherry Red Records in the United Kingdom. Cherry Red's Shout Records specializes in reissues of Soul and R & B music from the 1950s and 1960s.
