Anthony "Tony" Almeida is a fictional character played by Carlos Bernard on the television series 24, and one of the few people Jack Bauer still trusted until his apparent death in Season Five. Tony seemingly died in Bauer's arms in the thirteenth episode of the fifth season, but was revived through a hypothermic injection ten minutes after, returning in the Seventh Season. Tony Almeida was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1973. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. He served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. With the exception of Jack Bauer, he has appeared in more episodes than any other character.
