Interstate 140 (abbreviated I-140) is a spur route of Interstate 40 near Knoxville, Tennessee. It overlaps with part of the Pellissippi Parkway. It runs east from Interstate 40 near Farragut to U.S. Route 129, near McGhee Tyson Airport. It intersects with U.S. Route 11 and U.S. Route 70 near its western terminus. It becomes State Route 162 at both termini.
A 4.4-mile (7.1 km) extension (of U.S. Route 129) has been completed to State Route 33 (Old Knoxville Highway) between Maryville, Tennessee and Alcoa, Tennessee. Plans call to extend the highway further east to U.S. Route 321 near Walland in Blount County, Tennessee.
Exits are numbered from west to east, in accordance with AASHTO guidelines.
