David Lloyd, Greg Antonacci and Gary Nardino respectively created and developed Brothers in 1982, with pretty much the same format as what made it to the air. It was originally shopped around to broadcast networks ABC and NBC, which both turned it down, due to their concern about how homosexuality was going to be portrayed.
