Micael Kiriakos Delaoglou (Greek: Μιχαήλ Κυριάκος Δελάογλου), better known as Mikkey Dee (born 31 October 1963 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is a drummer/songwriter in the rock and roll band Motörhead. A Swede of Greek descent, he has been known for his speed and precision since his mid-80s stint with King Diamond.
Delaoglou began his musical career with local bands Nadir and Geisha. His favourite drummer is Ian Paice, other influences being Brian Downey, Neil Peart and Steven Smith. Dee also gives credit to Buddy Rich.
Dee has endorsed German drum manufacturer SONOR for well over 20 years, starting with King Diamond. He is also a long-time endorser of Paiste cymbals, Remo drumheads, and DW/Drum workshop bass drum pedals. Mikkey stopped using Vic Firth drumsticks in 2008 and began using drumsticks from the Swedish stick maker Wincent. In addition to having his own "signature model" in their line, he is also an investor within the Wincent company itself. His drumkits have evolved but he has stayed loyal to Sonor and to Paiste since 1985. Mikkey recorded and toured with Sonor Phonic Plus series drums and Paiste 2002 cymbals for most all his work with King Diamond. From the time he joined
