X-Men Archives is the title of two comic book limited series published in 1995. The first X-Men Archives series consisted of four issues. It reprinted a three issue New Mutants storyline focusing on Legion as well as the issue of Uncanny X-Men in which Legion's parents, Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller, first met. The second series lasted seven issues, and exact title is X-Men Archives featuring Captain Britain. It began publication in July 1995. It featured reprints of Captain Britain stories from the Marvel UK series Marvel Super-Heroes, The Daredevils, and The Mighty World Of Marvel. All of the reprinted Captain Britain stories were drawn by Alan Davis and most were written by Alan Moore. Later, the Allan Moore stories (part of 2 and 3-7) were collected into the Captain Britain TPB (2002).
