The tour received mixed, but fairly positive, reviews from critics. The Seattle Times found that the material used was "...eminently unforgettable...," and reviewers stated that Stefani should have used songs from her work with No Doubt. The Detroit News stated that the show focused too much on style and fashion at the expense of performance. Also noted was that "...though she makes great dance music--Stefani can't dance." Winnipeg Sun agreed, noting there were three costume changes during the first four songs. Stefani ended up touring while pregnant which forbade her from performing at optimum level. Jane Stevenson of the Toronto Sun gave the tour three-and-a-half stars out of five, calling Stefani a "charismatic presence on stage" but "lightweight" in terms of material.
Tour performances were documented on her late 2006 Harajuku Lovers Live DVD, which was filmed at her first tour stop in her hometown
