An influential figure in the adult industry, Chris Ward has directed over 100 films, including such major movies as Arabesque, A Porn Star Is Born, GRUNTS, Sexus, and Manifesto. His work before starting Raging Stallion included directing films for Hot House Entertainment and Falcon Studios. He holds a Ph.D. in Latin American History from the University of Florida.
Ward won the GayVn and Grabby Awards in 2008 for Best Director (along with co-director Ben Leon) for GRUNTS, which also was given the award for Best Picture. In 2008 Raging Stallion purchased High Octane Studios, making Ward's company one of the largest (if not the largest) all male erotic companies in the United States.
During his directing career Ward resided in San Francisco, California.
