In 1997, the band released the "Tradition" 7" E.P. on Prime Directive Records / Softcore. Following the success of the E.P., they signed to Indecision Records in 1997, and released their first album, From The Depths Of Depression in November 1998. The line-up for this release was Aaron Stone (vocals), Keith Barney (guitar), Aaron Lisi (guitar), Sean Rosenthal (bass) and Matt Horwitz (drums).
After this release, Keith Barney left to play with Death By Stereo and subsequently Throwdown and Eighteen Visions. Sean Rosenthal left for an opportunity to tour with Alt. Rock band Farside (who were signed to Revelation Records), and later played in a band called The Lost (also on Indecision Records). Matt Horwitz also left and now plays in another hardcore outfit, Lovethyne.
