Munched are an English band from Edenbridge in Kent. Their musical influences include Queen and Oasis among many others. The band were headline artists for the Edenbridge Festival on March 25 2006, and also appeared at the rock festival Bishfest at the Sevenoaks Community Centre on April 22, and 80s Nite at the Tunbridge Wells Forum on June 21. The band members are Matt Ilsley (vocals, guitars), Simon "H" Dent (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Glenn Masson (drums/cowbell). The band was originally formed by Ilsley and Dent in early 2005, with Glenn joining the band in late 2005.The band are based in the West Kent area and have yet to make the national music charts, although local popularity is significant. Munched recorded their first professional album in June 2006 at Flade Studios (aka Shadow Studios) in Sevenoaks, Kent. Munched grow now in notority and superiority over their counterparts.
