"Camelot" (Part 2 of 3) is the Season 9 finale episode of the science fiction television series Stargate SG-1. This episode was nominated for a Gemini Award in the categories "Best Sound in a Dramatic Series" and "Best Visual Effects".
After learning in "Arthur's Mantle" that Merlin, a de-ascended Ancient, had created a weapon to destroy the Ori, SG-1 travels to the world of Camelot to attempt to find it. The village's inhabitants welcome them, telling them about the history of King Arthur, which differs from the ones the Tau'ri know, such as defeating Mordred and leaving to search for the Sangraal￢ﾀﾔthe Holy Grail. They also view Merlin as a malicious trickster, and are also unwilling to help SG-1 to investigate Merlin's library, which was sealed after Merlin left, because they fear the "Curse of the Black Knight". Col. Mitchell however is not impressed since he once defeated one of Merlin's knights.
