Logan asks Veronica for help in finding the identity of his sister Trina’s boyfriend, who appears to have abused her. It transpires that he will be coming for dinner at the Echolls house. When Veronica and Logan arrive there in order to confront him, they find Aaron savagely beating him.
Logan and Veronica kiss and express their affection for each other. This prompts Veronica to end her relationship with Deputy Leo, in order to concentrate on Logan.
