With the exception of Will Sasso, Aries Spears and Michael McDonald, the major sketches and characters from 2000 to 2005 were dominated by the female cast members.
Season 6 saw veteran cast members, Nicole Sullivan and Debra Wilson, continue to produce sketches with recurring characters such as: Sullivan with The Vancome Lady, Antonia, and Darlene McBride. Wilson with Bunifa Latifah Halifah Sharifa Jackson, and her Oprah Winfrey impression.
However, both women ventured into new areas and produced new characters. For example, Sullivan created characters like Diane Lawyer-Trabajo for the News at 6 sketch, Charlotte (Anti-Depressercize Minute), Mimi O'Malley (The O'Malley's), Champagne (The Stick Chicks), Inga (Hoppy Potty), Susan Caydel (The Caydels)...
