G@mers is a computer and video games television show, produced by and shown on Rapture TV. The show is currently presented by Matt Cuttle, a former presenter on Sky One's "Gamezville", and Kate Heavenor, a former children's TV presenter. It is perhaps most famous for launching the career of BBC presenter Jake Humphrey.
Initially, the show (then titled just "Gamers" without the @) was presented by Cuttle and Humphrey. The show was later sold to ITV, coinciding with Rapture's financial problems at the time, and ended when the channel went off-the-air (temporarily) in 2001. At this point Humphrey left. On their third relaunch in 2005, the show was resumed, back on Rapture, with Heavenor replacing Humphrey as presenter.
The show covers console and handheld gaming, PC gaming and retro console systems, with the majority of time devoted to game reviews, which are rated by both presenters.
After 54 concurrent episodes, the programme, alongside Rapture TV's other production That Film Show- has temporarily ceased production, owing to the station moving location.
