James D. Meindl (born April 20 1933) is director of the Joseph M. Pettit Microelectronics Research Center, director of the Nanotechnology Research Center, and Pettit Chair Professor of Microelectronics at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.
