George Davis (April 17, 1914 - October 3, 1998) was a celebrated art director. Davis began his career at 20th Century Fox, his first film was Joseph L. Mankiewicz's fantasy The Ghost and Mrs. Muir in 1947, a director for whom he frequently worked, notably on House of Strangers (1949), All About Eve and No Way Out (both 1950) and 5 Fingers (1952).
