The All Party Parliamentary Group for Learning & Skills in the Criminal Justice system was a committee of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was founded by Baroness Veronica Linklater and Lord David Ramsbotham in September 2005. It was originally called the All Party Group for Offender Learning & Skills. In July 2006, following one parliamentary year's existence, it was absorbed into the All Party Penal Affairs Group. The Group was established to examine all areas of learning and skills training in the criminal justice system, especially in relation to prisons and young offender institutions in England and Wales. The Group mets each month when the Westminster Parliament was in session. Clerkship to the Group was provided by the Forum on Prisoner Education, a registered charity.
